Brian Jensen is the Vice President of Student Development at Geneva College.

He has extensive experience in Christian higher education and leadership. He began his career in student affairs at North Central University in Minneapolis. Since 2007, he has served in a variety of roles at Geneva College including Resident Director, Director of Student Leadership Development & Coordinator of Student Retention, and adjunct-faculty. He is a member of the Consortium for Student Retention Data Exchange, the Council of Christian Colleges & Universities and the Association of Christians in Student Development.

After Jensen received his B.S. in Business Administration from North Central University, he attended Geneva College, where he received his M.A. in Higher Education in 2010. During his time in the Higher Education program, he received the Excellence in Leadership & Scholarship Award, and he was also awarded Student Development’s Professional Accomplishment Award in 2013 & 2014.

In 2015, Jensen co-authored a book, Storied Leadership: Living and Leading from the Christian Narrative. He has presented at numerous conferences and regularly speaks to students and professionals regarding higher education and leadership. He teaches The Higher Education Professional and Leadership & Change courses in Geneva’s M.A. in Higher Education program.

Brian and his wife Sara have three children and reside in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.
