With a community development focus, Geneva’s program equips students to understand social theory related to the everyday social life of communities. And each portion of the sociology program is connected to a valuable and practical hands-on experience. As with all of Geneva′s programs, special attention is given to the unique contribution Christians can make in the social realm as loving service to Christ.

What can you do with a sociology degree?

Sociology graduates are equipped for employment in a wide variety of fields and are frequently employed in helping professions, business and various public sector positions. Employment opportunities include entry-level positions in administration, advertising, banking, counseling, community planning, health services, journalism, group and recreation work, marking, sales, human resources and social services.
