Why pick up a minor in Spanish? Well, these days Hispanics are the largest minority population in the United States, and there are also 20 countries in the world that have Spanish as their primary language.
The bottom line is this: While learning Spanish has enjoyment in itself since God Himself has created language, there are some real benefits to picking up a minor in Spanish to complement your major.
Interested in completing a Spanish major?
Students can opt to plan an independent major alongside any major at Geneva except Secondary Education, by completing the 18 credits in the Spanish minor at Geneva and at least 16 Spanish credits in an approved semester study abroad such as the Latin American Studies Program in San José, Costa Rica or Semester in Spain in Seville, Spain.
