The Pittsburgh Promise

The Pittsburgh Promise is an innovative scholarship program for graduates of Pittsburgh Public Schools and is designed to promote college enrollment and relieve financial burdens associated with it for Promise Scholars.

    • Geneva provides Promise recipients a room and board grant in the amount of $10,000 for up to four consecutive years. For students who qualify for academic scholarships from Geneva, $10,000 of those scholarships will be applied as a room and board grant, with any remaining portion being applied toward tuition.
  • Student Support
    • One-on-one academic coaching

    • Study Skills Assessment, a web-based program to determine study skills strengths and weaknesses
    • A writing center, provided by the English department, where tutors assist students
    • Academic accommodations for students with disabilities
