If you′re ready to further your career,Geneva College′s Adult Degree Programs can help you finish your degree. And with five locations, doing so has never been more convenient. Choose from four practical majors: Human Resources, Human Services, Organizational Leadership and Christian Ministry Leadership. Designed for busy adults like you, the ADP can be completed in as little as 16 months if you have some previous college experience. And if you don′t, we offer the ADP Core and Electives, with online options available, to help you get started.
In addition to timely completion of your degree, our program has an impressive graduation rate, consistently above the average.
In the ADP, you register for all courses in your major at one time. Your online class calendar shows you the dates for all of the courses in your major and when your assignments are due. You don′t have to worry about scheduling the 36 credits of your major. And if you need additional courses to meet graduation requirements, your enrollment counselor will work with you to choose and schedule those classes in our ADP Core and Elective Courses.
We send textbooks and course materials to your home prior to the start of class, so you don′t have to spend time going to the bookstore or searching for books online. The cost of textbooks is included in tuition.
While you′ll complete your degree in as little as 16 months, "accelerated" doesn't mean that you'll just cram credit hours into a shorter time frame. Accelerated learning occurs because as an adult, you already possess a wealth of personal and professional experience to share with others and use in your own academic development. Our classrooms do more than simply introduce you to new concepts and ideas: we take your experience, help you apply it to the workplace in unique ways and help you interpret it from a uniquely Christian perspective. The result—you learn more at a quicker pace and retain it for use in your current or future career.
We make completing your college degree convenient for you. You will be in a classroom just one evening a week from 6 to 9 p.m. Most of our degree completion programs can be completed at one of our five locations throughout western Pennsylvania including Pittsburgh, Monroeville, Cranberry, Johnstown and our campus in Beaver Falls.
Your computer and Internet connection are just as important as your textbooks. We strongly recommend that you have high-speed Internet access to be able to watch videos and interact properly with your classmates and instructor. Geneva College offers its students Office 365, which means that each student get a lifetime Geneva email address, along with the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and the rest of the Office suite for free.
You will have access to our McCartney Library on campus in Beaver Falls, PA, and you will have access to McCartney Library 24/7 from the comfort of your home. You will access databases containing millions of articles that you can use for research and your studies.
You won′t be a nameless face in a classroom of hundreds. We keep our classes small—between 10-18 students—so you can get to know your classmates and your instructor. You might share networking opportunities, communicate challenges and joys, prayer requests, and more. Each student will be just like you, going through the same courses, and sharing in each other′s accomplishments together!
Your instructors are knowledgeable, academically qualified and experienced professionals who combine cutting-edge experience with established theory. With our application-oriented approach, you can take what you learn today and apply it immediately to your job.
