Built in 1925, Reeves Field has been transformed into one of the finest facilities in the region. Most recently, Reeves has gone through a face lift that includes a new synthetic playing surface along with improved features off the field. A new entranceway, concession stands, bleachers, restrooms and press box highlight the renovations. With a capacity of over 6,000 Reeves Field plays host to one of the most electrifying atmospheres in NCAA Division III. In addition, Reeves has integral soccer lines that enable both the men′s and women′s soccer teams have a home field option in case of poor weather.
Metheny Fieldhouse has seen dramatic improvements in recent years. Already a special venue that can seat up to 2500, Metheny was constructed in the 1960′s, and has seen a new floor, new bleachers and new lighting improve the overall appearance of one of the finest facilities in the area. Housing Geneva′s basketball teams and volleyball teams, along with numerous intramural activities, Metheny Fieldhouse is a first rate facility. Metheny Fieldhouse is a great place to watch a game for fans, students and alumni.
Merriman Athletic Complex – Track & Field, Soccer
Geneva College′s Merriman Athletic Complex consists of a multi-purpose track and field area as well as soccer field. Merriman Athletic Complex bleachers hold a capacity of close to 1500. With an eight-lane track surrounding the soccer playing field, Merriman Complex has the capability of hosting a multi-event track meet, while also remaining a quality soccer facility that includes lights for night contests. The complex also features a fully enclosed press box with wireless internet that enables complete coverage for sporting events, including the operation of its soccer scoreboard on the south end of the facility.
Merriman Athletic Complex – The Bill and Rita Conrady Softball Field
The Merriman Complex is also the home for the Geneva College softball field. Tucked into the space formerly used for football practice, the softball team returned to campus beginning with the 2008 season. A new infield, including backstop and fencing, has enhanced the entire look of the facility and provide an enjoyable experience for spectators. Quality constructed dugouts along with other enhancements give the softball complex its unique character and playability. In late 2016, the softball field was upgraded with a permanent fence and digitalized windscreen.
33rd Street Field – Baseball
The Geneva baseball team has called 33rd Street Field home for almost three decades. After going through significant upgrades in the late 1980′s, this off campus jewel is considered one of the finest baseball facilities in the region. Most recently, a new infield playing surface and added windscreens have further enhanced its appearance and playability. A completely enclosed facility that can seat up to 250 fans inside the gate, along with several other seating options along the road, 33rd Street Field is a great venue to take in a ball game.
Jannuzi Tennis Courts
Recently dedicated to the Jannuzi family for their generous donations, the Geneva College tennis courts feature a pair of regulation courts that are located on campus across from Pearce Hall. The courts have become a popular attraction for students and athletes alike. Serving as the practice home for the varsity women′s tennis team, the Jannuzi courts also get very busy during the day and evening hours from students across campus.
