Geneva men's head basketball coach Jeff Santarsiero reached another milestone on Saturday evening. The 12-year head coach notched victory number 202 in his Geneva career, which tied him for 2nd place on Geneva's all-time victories list. Santarsiero tied his predecessor Jerry Slocum for the mark, a coach that Santarsiero served as an assistant for his first eight years at Geneva. Only legendary Cliff Aultman's 290 victories stands ahead of Santarsiero.

The 202nd victory came in an impressive 77-68 victory over Thomas More College on Saturday. The Golden Tornadoes started the week with a season high four-game losing streak, but they quickly put an end to that by taking their frustrations out against Waynesburg in a one-side affair that ended 95-62. Bryan Hill knocked in seven three-point field goals and finished with a game high 23 points. Justin Nardi scored 17 points in the victory over Waynesburg and followed that with a 16 point performance against Thomas More. Senior Mike Ross was a perfect 6-6 from the field for a team high 17 points on Saturday. Geneva got back over the .500 mark with the two victories and is sitting at 12-11 as the final week of the regular season is upon us.

In women's action, Geneva dismantled Waynesburg on Wednesday 60-41 for its fifth consecutive victory as Allyson Clarke posted her 17th double-double of the season. Reserves Megan Hartwig and Rachel Barry each scored 13 points to provide a spark in the absence of Renee Rawding. Rawding returned to the line-up on Saturday and scored a team high 21 points, but it wasn't enough to derail undefeated and fifth ranked Thomas More. The Saints put an end to Geneva's five-game winning streak and perfect home record in a 64-57 decision. Despite the loss, Geneva's women are still on the verge of back to back 20-win seasons with an overall mark of 19-4.

Geneva's track and field team competed at Baldwin-Wallace on Friday evening. Geneva's women were led by performances from Jamie Williams with an 11th place finish in the 200 meter event and ninth place spot in the long jump. Sarah Davis posted a top ten time in the one mile run, while Tiffany Bear continued her solid work in the shot put with an eighth place finish.

For the men, Andrew Foxenberg posted a time of 4:37.84 in the one mile run, which was good enough for sixth place. Teammate Phil Falk finished the same race in a time of 4:36.00, which placed him 12th overall. Foxenberg didn't take much time to rest as he moved on to the 3000 meter race, where he posted a fourth place finish. Dan Dillman finished the shot put event with a ninth place showing.
