The one-stop graduation event where you can take care of graduation plans and complete steps required for commencement. Grad Finale will be held in the Benedum Room, Alexander Hall.
This student-only celebration will be a time of celebration and an official induction into the Alumni Association. All graduating seniors are invited to attend this event. Registration will begin at Grad Finale and the cost is $5 per student. The cost includes an alumni t-shirt.

Baccalaureate will be held in Metheny Fieldhouse. Graduating seniors should assemble in the back of the field house by 6:30 p.m. The program is a worship service and an appropriate way to thank God for His provision to our students and to commit them to His care for all their future endeavors. We encourage you to come for this special worship celebration. Please note that graduates will process in cap and gown.
The event begins at 10 a.m. Students should gather in the John H. White Chapel by 8:45 a.m. to receive instructions.
This year we are planning to hold Commencement outside at Reeves Field. The duration of the event is approximately two hours. If the weather does not cooperate, the ceremony will be moved into Metheny Fieldhouse. You can check the Commencement Hotline (724-847-6100) for location updates.
The 2016 commencement speaker will be Mr. David R. Shedd who served in the U.S. government for nearly 33 years, most recently as the Acting Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. Since leaving the federal government last year, he has served as a Heritage Foundation Distinguished Fellow at Patrick Henry College and worked as an independent national security consultant. Mr. Shedd holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Geneva College (1981) and an M.A. from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Latin American Studies.
The ceremony will be held in Metheny Fieldhouse. No tickets required. There will be a reception following the ceremony in the tents on the lawn of Old Main.

Saturday, May 7, 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Students will be recognized at Commencement for honors based on their GPA at the conclusion of the fall semester. For a few, this may change after final spring semester grades are processed. The FINAL honors designation will be posted on transcripts and diplomas.
Honor cords may be picked up in the registrar’s office prior to commencement. Pictures of honor grads and class officers will be taken commencement morning in Skye Lounge at 8 a.m. Students may check this Web page for an updated list. Honors for August graduates will not be final until all coursework is completed.
