The writing concentration is focused on delivering students a complement of writing classes that are comprehensive in their approach and practical for students’ careers. Students will learn feature writing, creative writing, and how to find and use relevant research. They’ll learn how to identify their audience, pitch stories, edit articles and write for newspapers. Our hands-on, technical writing courses are also a focus of this concentration.
