About me

In my full-time profession, for the past 25 years, I have managed laboratory operations and quality/environmental management systems in the mining and minerals industries.  I was born in Indiana, and have previously lived or worked in Alabama, Virginia, Tennessee, Missouri, Texas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and California.  I am a Christian, husband, father, grandfather, analytical chemist, business unit manager and lecturer, and I enjoy my profession so much that it is also one of my leisure pastimes, although my wife and I do enjoy some occasional travel.

What do you enjoy about teaching online at Geneva College?

My time at university was a truly valuable and memorable part of my life, and I desire that experience for each of my students.  My post-graduate and graduate degrees were completed while working full time in my profession, so I fully understand the challenges of balancing work and school responsibilities.  Being able to share my knowledge at a Christian college where my faith is also encouraged is a bonus, so I am truly blessed!
