  • Cost is $3,500 per rider: riders pay their own way; all money raised goes to the scholarship
  • Team consists of 11 people: 9 Riders & 2 Drivers…plus occasional tag along riders
  • Total of 12 States: CA, NV, UT, CO, KS, MO, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, DL + WDC
  • Ride 3,708 miles; from May 20 to July 17, 2013
  • A total of 59 days + a day or two of clean up
  • Averaging 63 miles per day
  • Shortest day is 25 miles (all up hill)
  • Longest day is 117 miles
  • Van departs campus on May 15, 2013
  • Remaining team members fly in May 17
  • Fun Ride & Dinner on the 18th
  • Sleeping in: campgrounds, hotels, alumni yards, churches, hostels, etc.
  • Lord willing the team arrives in Pittsburgh, on July 9th
    • Meet up with Cycle to the Sea on July 10th
    • Splash down in the Atlantic Ocean on Wednesday, July 17th in Bethany beach
    • Most will return/depart on the 18th
    • Team leaders return to campus on July 19th and clean up on campus on the 20th
