2010 President's Council and Donor Appreciation Dinner


The 2010 President′s Council and Donor Recognition Dinner was held on September 28 at The Club at Shadow Lakes, in Hopewell, Pa. This dinner was in appreciation of the leadership level support of the 2009-10 President′s Council, Heritage Society, Tower Society, and John Black Johnston Society members. The evening was hosted by Jeffrey Jones, Vice President of Advancement, with Dr. Kenneth A. Smith providing a presidential address and Stephanie Schindel, professor of psychology, was the keynote speaker.

Members of the President Council are those who made gifts of $1,000 or more in the 2009-10 fiscal year, June 1 through May 31. The Tower Society recognizes those who have a life-time giving total of $25,000 or more. President Smith welcomed 10 new members into the Tower Society. The John Black Johnston Society members are those who have given $500,000 or more, and the Heritage Society is reserved for those who have placed Geneva College in their estate plans. Ken Smith recognized the importance of these key partners to the college and thanked them for their extraordinary commitment to the college′s mission and the students.
