“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.” Revelation 7:9
The Bible tells us the Kingdom of God is diverse, a kingdom made up of people from different colors, cultures, languages and traditions. Therefore, Christians must be culturally intelligent in order to be effective in reaching and ministering to God’s people. And whether one can readily see it or not, racial inequality and separation still exist.
So how do we move forward effectively as leaders in today’s society, as educators, administrators, pastors, community leaders, college students or parents? What are the tools needed to reshape our areas of influence? God wants to equip us as leaders who are courageous enough to confront these issues and bring about change. During this conference, we will address these challenges and discuss steps to becoming an effective leader in the workplace, on campus, in the community and, most importantly, in the Kingdom.
