BEAVER FALLS, Pa. - Geneva College′s commencement celebrations will include a graduate commencement, a baccalaureate ceremony and an undergraduate commencement. All three celebrations will be held in Metheny Fieldhouse at Geneva.

The graduate commencement will be held Thurs., May 12 at 7:30 p.m. The ceremony will recognize students from the masters programs in business administration, counseling, higher education, organizational leadership and special education. Rev. Dr. James E. Lutz, interim executive minister of the West Virginia Baptist Convention, will be the speaker. There will be a reception following the ceremony in Alexander Hall.

The baccalaureate ceremony will be held Fri., May 13 at 7 p.m. Geneva welcomes Rev. Dr. Kenneth G. Smith, Geneva graduate, retired Reformed Presbyterian pastor, former Chair of the Board of Trustees, and the father of Geneva′s president. Immediately following the ceremony there will be a reception in Alexander Dining Hall hosted by President and Mrs. Smith.

The undergraduate commencement will be held Sat., May 14 at 10 a.m. The ceremony will recognize the academic accomplishments of 443 students. Mrs. Susan Rooke, a member of our Board of Trustees who is a professional writer and speaker specializing in youth, will be the speaker. Due to the number of students graduating this year, a ticket is required for the ceremony.
