BEAVER FALLS, Pa. - The following events are free to the public and scheduled to take place on the campus of Geneva College, Route 18, in Beaver Falls, PA, unless otherwise noted.

Jan. 5 The Women′s Basketball team plays Carlow College at 7 p.m. in Metheny Fieldhouse. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Jan. 14 The basketball teams play Houghton College in Metheny Fieldhouse. The Women′s game begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Men′s game at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Jan. 16 Geneva will observe MLK Day with five discussion forums beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Northwood Hall, room 013. Topics will include: leadership and cultural diversity, holistic approach to racial/ethnic diversity, developing a multicultural campus community, Christian perspective on racial/ethnic diversity, and experiencing cross cultural communication. Jan. 16 The Men′s Basketball team plays Penn State Beaver at 7:30 p.m. in Metheny Fieldhouse. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Jan. 21 The Golden Tornado Basketball teams play Roberts Wesleyan in Metheny Fieldhouse. The Women′s game begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Men′s game at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Jan. 22 Geneva College encourages the community to participate in Life Ring at 12 p.m.

This event is a pro-life campaign, which asks churches with bell towers to ring their bells once every 20 seconds for 11 minutes on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. For more information, contact Jeffrey Schindel at 724 847-6577.

Jan. 24 The Geneva Basketball teams play Seton Hill University in Metheny Fieldhouse. The Women′s game begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Men′s game at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Jan. 26-27 Carl Ellis, author of Beyond Liberation and co-founder of the Center for Urban Theological Studies, will host a lecture on culture and diversity in John White Chapel, Old Main. Ellis will speak Thursday at 7 p.m. on "Dynamics and Diversity." He will speak Friday at 10 a.m. for the campus gathering. Both events are free and open to the public.
