BEAVER FALLS, Pa.- New Song, Geneva′s traveling music/drama ensemble, has released a new CD titled, Stonghold. The CD is New Song′s eighth CD.

The CD was recorded through Crown and Covenant Publications in Ambridge, Pa. It includes twenty-five unaccompanied psalms and five accompanied pieces.

Members of New Song include Dan Neikirk, senior - music education, Volant, Pa.; Megan Archer, junior - elementary education, Sanger, Calif.; Paul Hemphill, junior - accounting, Westminster, Colo.; Rachel Palomaki, junior - music education, Victor, N.Y.; Brendon Petersheim, sophomore - chemical engineering, Birdsboro, Pa.; Mandi Stern, soprano - English education, Chambersburg, Pa.; Stephanie Ishler, sophomore - Christian ministries, DuBois, Pa.; and Jim Cason, senior - computer science, Binghamton, N.Y. Rhonda Barnes, junior - music education, Clymer, Pa., accompanies the group.

New Song is a traveling music ministry of Geneva. The group tours the United States over the summers and also performs during the fall and spring semesters. This past summer, the group traveled to Ontario, New York, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee, Colorado, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. New Song′s 2006 summer tour includes performances in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.
