BEAVER FALLS, Pa.- Geneva College′s commencement celebrations will include a graduate commencement, a baccalaureate ceremony, and an undergraduate commencement. All three celebrations will be held in Metheny Fieldhouse at Geneva.

The graduate commencement will be held Thurs., May 11, at 7:30 p.m. The ceremony will recognize students from the masters programs in business administration, counseling, higher education, organizational leadership and special education. Dr. Claudia Beversluis, dean for instruction at Calvin College and recently name Provost of Calvin, will be the speaker. There will be a reception following the ceremony in Alexander Hall.

The baccalaureate ceremony will be held Fri., May 12, at 7:30 p.m. The speaker will be Edgardo Vencio, Geneva′s new vice president for marketing. Vencio is a native of the Philippines, where he worked at The Philippine American Life and General Insurance Company as vice president of marketing.

The undergraduate commencement will be held Sat., May 13, at 10 a.m. The ceremony will recognize the academic accomplishments of 388 students. This year′s speaker will be Dr. Walt Mueller, a 1978 Geneva graduate and founder and president of the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding. A ticket is required for the ceremony. There will be a reception following the ceremony on the lawn of Old Main.
