Waynesburg, PA - Geneva′s men and women were back on the cross country course in competition on Saturday afternoon. This time it was at future PAC opponent Waynesburg College. While the 22nd ranked Geneva women′s team were without two of their top runners, the men′s team was led by a familiar face.

On the men′s side, Andrew Foxenberg ran almost an identical race as the one he pulled off two weeks ago at Case Western Reserve. At Waynesburg, Foxenberg finished 18th overall with a time of 27:18, which was just five seconds slower than his race at Case Western.

Foxenberg was joined by teammate Phillip Falk in the top 50 as Falk finished with a 47th place finish in a time of 28:13. Brother Josh Falk was next in line for the Golden Tornadoes with a 60th place finish.

On the women′s side, the Golden Tornadoes brought home a fifth place finish, which may not seem overly impressive for a ranked team, however, Geneva was competing with two of its top runners. Both Beth Bartolomeo and Dee Koutsourais competed in a half marathon last weekend and were held out of competiton as a precaution.

Rebecca VanRegenmorter, who qualified for the NAIA cross country meet last year, finished 11th overall with a time of 24:11. Teammate Susan Fletcher was 24th overall in a time of 24:44.

Following are the times of Geneva′s men and women from Saturday′s meet:
Men: Women:
Andrew Foxenberg 27:18 Rebecca VanRegenmorter 24:11
Phillip Falk 28:13 Susan Fletcher 24:44
Josh Falk 28:33 Marsha Miller 24:24
