"We have played some very difficult ball games of late, including a tough one against Carlow on Tuesday," said Galbreath. "It′s always nice to see everything click at once and get a victory like this one."

Geneva, playing without its leading scorer Allyson Clarke for the second consecutive night, picked up its second victory in as many chances and averaged over 90 points in those victories. "We are not a team that is going to be successful by trying to score 90 points every night," said Galbreath. "We win with defense, but the last two nights, we had the offense going pretty well."

Pretty well may be the understatement of the young season. Geneva′s women opened up a 45-16 lead after 20 minutes and never looked back. Geneva shot 52% from the field and held Franciscan to just 13 total field goals for the game.

Jackie Anthony led the scoring for the second straight game with 23 points, while Lauren Uranker sizzled with 19 points, including a 5-5 effort from three-point range. Renee Rawding added 15 and Kylee Kittner scored 13 as the only other two Geneva players in double figures. Every player on Geneva′s roster found the scoring category in the victory. Franciscan got 15 of its points from Stacey Donovan.

Geneva will enjoy some time off before traveling to Waynesburg on December 20th. The Golden Tornadoes will return home for the new year on January 3rd to host Thiel College.
