becze.jpgBEAVER FALLS, Pa. – Geneva has officially named Ben Becze as its new director of academic fundraising. After spending six years in corporate fundraising, Becze brings his experience to his alma mater to serve in a newly created position designed to build bridges between Geneva alumni, corporations, foundations and all areas of academia at the college.

"My return to Geneva was a calling for both the college and for me.  My skill set matched a need in the academic affairs office and the rest was up to God's will and desire for both me and this institution."

Becze received his bachelor′s degree in music and public relations from Geneva College in 2000. Prior to taking his new position, he served as the corporate relations manager at the United Way of Allegheny County for two years, where, in 2006, he was accepted as a national resident fellow for United Way of America.  Prior to that, he was the corporate sales representative at Joe Corbi′s Fund Raising for four years.

He and his wife Elisa reside in Beaver.

Geneva College, a reformed Christian liberal arts school founded in 1848, prepares students to serve Christ in all areas of society: work, family and the church.  Geneva is a founding member of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).
