SO FAR, SO GOOD FOR GENEVATENNIS AGAINST PAC

Pittsburgh, PA - It may be too early to start making predictions about Geneva′s tennis team in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference. However, if the first two matches against PAC foes is any indication, the Golden Tornadoes should do quite well against opponents from the new conference.

On Tuesday, Geneva cruised to an 8-1 victory over Chatham College, which helped improve Geneva′s overall record to 4-2, including a pair of victories against its only two opponents from the PAC.

Geneva swept all six singles matches and two of three in doubles play. Allison Krisza continued her stellar play with her fifth consecutive singles victory, while teammate Tess Roholt also remained unbeaten in singles action this season. Other victories on Tuesday included Jill Halama, Beth Sweatman, Julia Buck and Jill Grabski.

Geneva should get a very stern test in its next match when it travels to Latrobe to take on Saint Vincent College next Monday. The Golden Tornadoes won′t play another home match until hosting Thomas More on October 6th.
