homecoming_king_queen.jpgGeneva College announced the 2007-08 homecoming court in the midst of a busy weekend of festivities. The court was recognized on Saturday, Sept. 29 during the football game against LaSalle University, in which the Geneva′s Golden Tornadoes won the school′s 500th gridiron victory.

The homecoming king and queen—along with their court—were elected by their peers. Both a male and female student represented each class, and the king and queen were selected from the 10 senior class representatives.

Ryan Nyeholt (youth ministry) of Souderton, Pa. and Devon Law (psychology) of Saegertown, Pa. were crowned as the king and queen for this year′s homecoming court. The remaining senior representatives were: Jonathan DiBenedetto (student ministries) of Cincinnati, Oh.; Josh Lee (business marketing) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Jonathan Sigmon (business) of Lancaster, Pa.; Dave Abt (student ministries) of Hershey, Pa.; Hannah Viggiani (communications) of Rochester, N.Y.; Kaitlin Anderson (communication disorders) of Columbiana, Oh.; Heather Moffat (psychology) of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and Holly Justice (elementary and special education) of Greensburg, Pa.

Junior representatives were Nick Licari (business marketing) of Clinton Corners, N.Y. and Lindsay Moore (business) of Sarver, Pa.

Sophomore representatives were Christian Rafetto (student ministries) of Lansdowne, Pa. and Angelica Mazzarini (biology) of Bethel Park, Pa.

Freshmen representatives were Dexter Edwards (business) of Greensburg, Pa. and Leanne Abate (biology) of Lower Burrell, Pa.

Other homecoming events included a 5K race, street fair featuring arts and crafts demonstrations, food booths, live music and children′s activities and more.
