BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – Continuing a 70-year tradition, Geneva′s student choir, the Genevans, will sing in the 2007 Christmas season with its annual Christmas concert.

Presented on November 30 and December 1 at 8:00 p.m., the concert will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on 8th Avenue in Beaver Falls.

This year the concert offers an eclectic combination of carols and hymns both familiar and lesser-known, including several German Christmas hymns and Russian pieces sung in the Slavonic language. The choir will be accompanied by organist Jungwha Kim from Park Presbyterian Church in Beaver. The Genevans perform under the direction of Dr. Robert M. Copeland, who has been the Genevans director for 26 years.

Geneva′s handbell ensemble will kick off the evening′s Christmas festivities with a 7:30 p.m. performance prior to the Genevans concert.

Admission to both is free and open to the public.
