For the hard core Geneva College athletic fans, alumni and students, the recent year has brought continuous upgrades to an already impressive Web site. With the new year upon us, additional improvements are on now online with new links providing weekly updates and athlete-of-the-week award winners.
Each week, the sports information office provides the campus community with athletic updates on every program. Now those updates will be posted on the athletic pages of the Geneva Web site to better inform sports enthusiasts of the goings-on in Geneva athletics. As a part of the weekly update, male and female athletes of the week will also be featured to better promote outstanding achievements in the athletic arena.
In the past couple of years, more comprehensive statistical pages have been implemented, as well as links provided for a live broadcast feed for football and basketball. In the coming weeks, Geneva will offer an additional feature to allow fans to follow all the action on game day. A live stats link will be offered for many of the Geneva programs, which will enable visitors to follow each play statistically as it happens. Live stats will be available for football, men′s and women′s basketball, baseball, softball and men′s and women′s soccer.
As Geneva embarks on its 160th year as an institution, Golden Tornadoes′ athletics continue to prosper on and off the field, and the Geneva Web site will be there to enable the community to follow the action all season long.
