New Wilmington, PA - Dan Dillman turned in an impressive performance at the Westminster Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Dillman pulled out a pair of top two finishes including a first place effort in the shot put and a second place finish in the discus. Dillman posted a 13.41 meter effort to win the shot put and then tossed the discus 41.40 meters to take second place.

Dillman led the men′s team to 39 total points and a fourth place finish at Westminster. Other highlights for the men′s team included a second place finish for Bobby Rex in the 200 meter race with a time of 23.02. Rex joined teammates Matt Susa, Stephen Polite and Corey Fraction for a second place finish in the 4 x 100 meter relay with a finals time of 44.43.

Tiffany Bear continued her strong spring with a pair of top five finishes on Saturday. She was fifth in the 100 meter hurdles and fourth in the shot put to lead the women′s team. Geneva finished sixth in the overall standings with 36 total points. Sarah Davis had a good day in the 1500 meter event with a fourth place finish with a time of 5:14.89. Rebecca VanRegenmorter also finished fourth in the 5000 meter race with a time of 19:41.69. Finally, Kelsey Anderson was third in the javelin with a throw of 33.80 meters.

Geneva′s track and field team will enjoy a weekend away from competition to prepare for the PAC Championships on the first weekend of May.
