1.jpgBeaver Falls, PA – When you play football at Geneva College, you are more than just a student-athlete. You are someone that has a responsibility to reach out to the community and help them understand what makes our school special. On Friday morning, the community message was sent loud and clear as 15 Geneva football players visited elementary schools at Riverside, New Brighton and Beaver Falls to take some time to read to the youth of Beaver County. “Our guys love spending time with these kids,” said head coach Geno DeMarco. “It is a great opportunity for us to connect with local schools and youngsters in our community. We had a great time visiting these schools and were very grateful for the cooperation everyone gave to our student-athletes.”

The Golden Tornadoes will get back to work on the field on Saturday as they host Saint Vincent College at 7 p.m. at Reeves Field. Geneva is 5-1 and off to its best start since 1997.
