Beaver Falls, PA - Brian Wilson completed his collegiate eligibility with Geneva College last fall but the senior defensive end will put the pads back on in March to represent the Golden Tornadoes at the Charleston Division II/III All American Bowl. The game will pit great college football players from across the country against each other in this all star game. The game is being played at Charleston University on March 27th.

Wilson led the Geneva defense with 14 tackles for loss including a team best seven sacks. He had a total of 43 tackles with a forced fumble and three fumble recoveries. He also saw some time on the offensive side of the ball as a tight end. Wilson caught 11 passes for 109 yards and three touchdowns. He also returned a fumble for a touchdown and became the first Geneva player to score a touchdown on offense and defense in the same game.

"Brian is a young man with an incredible amount of talent," said head coach Geno DeMarco. "He is a great ambassador for our program and for the Presidentsā€² Athletic Conference. He will have the opportunity to play with some of the best football players in the country and it will fit right in with all of them."

The All American Bowl was founded in 1996 to give athletes the opportunity to compete against the best at their level in an all star game setting. In April of 1996, the first All American Bowl was played in Minnesota and has since been played at various cities across the country including Atlanta, Miami and Las Vegas.

Wilson and the Golden Tornadoes finished the 2009 season with an overall record of 8-3 while capturing their fifth NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) Victory Bowl title. Wilson was awarded PAC Coaches Honors while also being named an NCCAA All-American. "This is just the icing on the cake for a great career," said DeMarco. "He is a great young man who has a lot of tools in the shed."
