The 10th Annual Geneva College Leadership Conference will be held April 16 at the Pittsburgh Marriot North in Cranberry Township.  Sponsored by Geneva′s Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) program, in partnership with Serving Leaders of Pittsburgh, the conference will focus on the power of serving-leadership to transform organizational culture and unleash the potential of people.

Our featured keynote speaker this year is leadership author and business consultant, Ken Blanchard. Blanchard′s nearly three dozen books on leadership have sold over 18 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 25 languages.  In 1999, he co-founded The Center for Faithwalk Leadership, now known as Lead Like Jesus. Other keynote speakers include Marcia Newman and John Stahl-Wert.  Marcia Newman represents nationally known speakers on servant-leadership, and she also does her own consulting, training and presenting in over 40 institutions nationwide. John Stahl-Wert is an internationally known speaker, best-selling author and an expert in growing great leaders. John is the president of Serving Leaders.

The conference will also feature a panel of prominent leaders from the Pittsburgh area to be interviewed by Ken Blanchard: J. Christopher Donahue, president, CEO and director of Federated Investors, Inc.; Albert J. Neupaver, president and CEO of Wabtec Corporation; Kim Fleming, president of Pittsburgh Branch Hefren-Tillotsonl; Roger Oxendale, former CEO of Children′s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC; Ken E. Smith, former President and CEO of H.P. Maynard & Company and executive coach/entrepreneur; Doris Carson Williams; president and CEO of the African American Chamber of Western Pennsylvania; and Dr. Cynthia Zurchin, principal of Pittsburgh Schaeffer Primary School.

The leadership conference is $59 for any currently enrolled college students and MSOL alumni and $79 for all other attendees. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
