Beaver Falls, PA - The accolades continue to pour in for the Geneva College softball team as a pair of Golden Tornadoes were honored by the NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) as second team All-Americans. Adriane Blake and Julie DiLonardo were both honored for their success on the field during the 2010 campaign. For Blake, it marks the second time this year she has been honored as an All-American as the junior shortstop was also handed All-American honors in volleyball.

Blake led the Geneva offense with a .380 batting average and a team best 54 hits. She also led the Golden Tornadoes with six home runs, 43 RBI′s and a .585 slugging percentage. On the bases, Blake swiped 27 bases and was thrown out only twice all season.

In the circle, Julie DiLonardo enjoyed one of the finest seasons in school history. She was 21-10 on the year which tied the single season record at Geneva for victories. She posted a 1.69 ERA and set the single season mark with 154 strikeouts in 178 innings of work.

Geneva finished the 2010 campaign with an overall record of 23-17 and fell just one win shy of posting a .600 winning percentage which would have given them an opportunity for an at-large bid to the NCCAA national tournament.
