New Song 2010

New Song, Geneva College′s traveling music and drama ministry, will depart Thursday, July 1 for their annual summer tour. The group will perform at churches in eight states and two Canadian provinces. A complete list of dates and locations can be found here.

Now in its 34th year, New Song is a ministry that features a cappella singing of the psalms. Through music and drama, the group conveys the gospel in a contemporary and dynamic way, showing the wide range of emotions and praise to God found in the psalms. The group is directed by music faculty member Louise (Edgar ‘66) Copeland.

The 2010 members of New Song are: Lindsay Brothers, senior music education major from Minerva, Ohio; Sarah Falk, junior music education major, Clarinda, Iowa; Lauren Holmes, junior music education major, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Hannah Moore, sophomore math education major, Lewistown, Pa.; Mike Schlott, junior mechanical engineering major, Monaca, Pa.; Adam Shaffer, senior business major, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Ian Taylor, sophomore music education major, Rochester, Pa.; Brian Wright, senior biblical studies major, Arlington, Mass.; and Lindsay York, junior music education and piano performance major, Kokomo, Ind.
