Dove award winner Chris TomlinGeneva College is joining with Generation: Exodus to help bring Dove award winner, best selling Christian songwriter and performer Chris Tomlin to the new Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. on Thursday, September 30 at 7 p.m.

As a sponsor of the concert, Geneva College will have a special group seating area at the Consol Energy Center. Geneva is offering a special price of $25 for tickets with no additional fees to Geneva students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, youth groups and friends. Geneva community members who purchase tickets through the school will also get a Geneva t-shirt to wear at the concert.

Chris Tomlin, originally from Grand Saline, Texas, has been singing and writing praise songs since he was 14. After his first album in 2001, Tomlin has released many well-known hits, such as “Indescribable,” “Holy is the Lord,” "How Great Is Our God," "Jesus Messiah," "Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)" and "We Fall Down."

The record label Sparrow Records gives a brief summary describing Chris Tomlin: “singer/songwriter/worship leader/Texas native/three-time Gospel Music Association male vocalist of the year/two-time GMA artist of the year/two-time GRAMMY nominee/most sung Christian artist in the United States.”
