Steubenville, OH - Geneva College got an offensive explosion from forward Maura Allen and another goose egg from senior goalkeeper Lauren Londino on their way to their second victory in three days. The Golden Tornadoes defeated Franciscan University 3-0 on Saturday afternoon to move to 2-0 on the young season.

Allen, who scored two goals in Geneva′s season opening victory over Penn State Beaver on Thursday night, scored all three of Geneva′s goals against Franciscan. Meanwhile, Londino continues to move closer to the Geneva College record books. Posting her 19th career shutout, Londino is now just two away from matching the career record for shut-outs.

Geneva will continue its season long road trip in the second of five straight away from home on Tuesday at Mt. Aloysius. The Golden Tornadoes return to Merriman Complex on September 16th against Point Park University.
