Buffalo, NY - Four matches and counting for the Geneva College women′s soccer team and senior goalkeeper Lauren Londino. The Golden Tornadoes continued their early season shut-out mark by still not allowing a goal against in the first four matches of the season. The only difference at Buffalo State on Friday afternoon was that Geneva was unable to find the net in a double overtime, scoreless tie.

In the process of converting her fourth shut-out in as many games to start the season, Londino matched Geneva′s all-time record with 21 shut-outs for her career while also matching the school record with four consecutive shut-outs.

Londino had not been challenged in her first three shut-outs this season, but on Friday night she proved to be the difference maker. Buffalo State outshot Geneva by the count of 29-2 for the match. Londino turned away 14 shots on goal to earn the shut-out while the Golden Tornadoes′ offense was unable to convert a shot on goal for the match.

Remaining unbeaten with an overall record of 3-0-1, the Golden Tornadoes complete their quick two day trip to New York state on Saturday afternoon. Geneva will travel to Medaille College for the fourth consecutive road match for the Golden Tornadoes. Next week, Geneva is set for a rematch at Penn State Beaver on Monday before finally returning home next Thursday evening to host Point Park University.
