Beaver Falls, PA - These days it seems all the Geneva College women′s soccer team needs to do is score one goal for senior goalkeeper Lauren Londino. On Saturday, a goal seven minutes into the game was all Geneva would need in a 1-0 victory over Pitt-Bradford. The victory improved Geneva′s overall record to 6-0-1 as Pitt-Bradford fell to 3-4.

Maura Allen scored her team leading eighth goal of the season unassisted in the sixth minute of the contest and that was all the offense Geneva would need. Senior goalkeeper Lauren Londino posted her sixth shut-out of the season and record breaking 22nd shut-out of her career. Londino has allowed just one goal all season and lowered her goals against average to a miniscule 0.14 for the season.

Geneva out shot Pitt-Bradford 17-9 but Londino made all five saves on shots that reached the net to preserve the victory. The record for shut-outs in a season is nine and Geneva is only three shy of setting that mark and the Golden Tornadoes are not close to the half way mark for the season.

The Golden Tornadoes travel to LaRoche on Tuesday before heading back home next Thursday for a make-up match with Point Park that was postponed last Thursday night.
