The Geneva College Theatre begins its 2010-11 season with Enchanted April, a play written by Matthew Barber. Enchanted April is directed by Julie Lohmann James and guest director Rosh Raines.

The plot of Enchanted April follows two frustrated housewives who decide to rent a villa in Italy for a holiday away from their bleak marriages. They recruit two very different English women to share in the cost and experience. There, among the blossoms and Mediterranean sunshine, all four bloom again, rediscovering themselves in ways that they - and the audience - could never have expected.

Enchanted April′s performances will run from Thursday, October 7 through Saturday, October 9, and Thursday, October 21 through Saturday, October 23 in the Bagpiper Theatre on Geneva College′s campus. Evening curtain calls are at 8 p.m., and Saturday matinees begin at 2 p.m.

The cast for Enchanted April includes Geneva students and alumni Bill Coyne, Brenna Garda, Lauren Spyker, Jesse Carroll, Nathan Dinsmore, Rachael Henderson, Liz Costanza and Kierstan Williams.
