Beaver Falls, PA - One of the largest crowds in recent memory were barely settled in their seats when Geneva College scored the first goal of the match against Saint Vincent on Saturday night. Caleb Musselman′s penalty kick goal just two minutes into the match would be all Geneva would need in a 2-0 victory over Saint Vincent College. The Golden Tornadoes improved to 14-2-2 on the season to pull within just one victory of matching last year′s total of 15 wins.

Geneva and its seniors celebrated the final home game of their careers on Saturday and it was a pair of underclassmen that send their teammates away in style. Musselman, a junior for the Golden Tornadoes, capitalized on a penalty kick and then just five minutes into the second half fellow junior Josh Mann knocked one into the goal to give the Golden Tornadoes some breathing room. "We wanted to give our seniors something special to take with them tonight," said head coach Gary Dunda. "I′m pretty sure a victory in their final home game was exactly what they wanted. We have a great group of seniors and it′s their leadership and love for this program that has us where we at right now."

Where Geneva is right now is a holding pattern. The Golden Tornadoes have already qualified for the NCCAA East regional tournament but the site and participants is not yet determined. As for tonight, the six seniors comprised on Matt Weaver, Gabe Kleinert, Jeremy Peachy, Chris Morschl and Kenton Burckhart will take home a memory that will last forever.
