Join Geneva College at the Projecting Hope Film Festival.

Geneva College is again sponsoring the Projecting Hope Christian Film Festival, which presents free Christian movies to the public. This is the first year that there will be two venues: Cranberry Cinemas 8, this weekend, and Fox Chapel Waterworks 10, next weekend.

Tickets are free at the door the day of the show and will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis.

Several movies will be featured this Friday, October 8.  “Letters to God” will be shown at 5 p.m., “What If…” at 7:15 p.m. and “To Save a Life” at 9:30 p.m. Each movie is about two hours long.

“Letters to God” is an inspiring story about a boy′s walk of faith and a man′s longing for truth. The journey they make together touches the lives of the surrounding community, showing the power of a child who believes.

“What If…” is about a man who chose to abandon the love of his life and his faith. An angelic mechanic visits him and informs him of what life would have been like if he had listened to God′s calling.

“To Save a Life” is about a boy whose life is in order until he has a visitor from the past. He goes from devastation to reform as he wonders whether he could have made a difference.

Other movies presented during the weekend include “Veggie Tales: It′s a Meaningful Life,” “What′s in the Bible,” “The Perfect Game,”“What If…,” “The Trial,” “Veggie Tales: Pistachio,” and “The Way Home.”

The following weekend, October 15-17, the festival will continue with a variety of titles at Fox Chapel Waterworks 10.
