Career Development is promoting their Computer Career Assessment throughout the month of November, along with a Calling and Vocational book table.

"The greatest hindrance to one embracing their calling is failure to reflect and self-assess," says Director of Career Development Rob Rostoni. The Career Direct career assessment enables students to identify preferences, interests, skills and values. Once completed, a report is generated that the career counseling staff uses to identify potential areas of study, career options and professional development opportunities.

The Calling and Vocational book table will be available in the campus bookstore from Nov. 1 - 30, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Students will receive a 50% discount on the featured books, including What Am I Supposed to Do with My Life? by Douglas J. Brouwer, God′s Plans for You by J.I. Packer, Choosing Your Career: The Christian′s Decision Manual by Martin E. Clark and others.

Students are encouraged to be pro-active in using the Career Development office to help aid in finding and realizing each individual′s calling and vocational skills.
