Geneva College Golden TornadoesBeaver Falls, PA - Geneva College invites the Beaver County community to the Golden Tornadoes Community Night at the home basketball doubleheader on Saturday, February 5 at Metheny Fieldhouse. Admission will be free as the Golden Tornadoes face long-time rival Saint Vincent College in a men′s and women′s basketball doubleheader. The women′s game is scheduled to tip-off at 5:30 p.m. with the men′s game scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

In addition, Geneva College will be acknowledging Beaver County basketball officials on Saturday night for continued service over the years. During halftime of the men′s game, Geneva will also be recognizing each of its scholar-athlete recipients from last fall as awarded by the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.

"We are looking forward to having a nice crowd on Saturday night," said head men′s basketball coach Jeff Santarsiero. "We have also received great support from the local community so having a night to give something back to our local community is something we are very excited about on Saturday."

Santarsiero and the Golden Tornadoes will be putting their 8-1 home record on the line on Saturday night as they look to avenge one of only five losses all season having dropped a decision the Saint Vincent earlier in the season. The women′s team will also be looking to payback the Bearcats for an early season loss.
