Geneva College is holding a free regional reception for college-bound high school students and their parents in Celebration, Florida, on March 12, 2011, 10 a.m. to noon. Prospective students are invited to attend and learn how Geneva College can help prepare them for the challenges of the future through an academically challenging, Christ-centered education.

Admissions Counselors and other members of the Geneva community will be available to answer questions and financial aid information, including scholarships, grants and other opportunities, will be presented. Head football coach Geno DeMarco and athletic director Dr. Kim Gall will hold a separate session for students and their parents who are interested in learning about Geneva′s athletic programs.

"Alumni, current students and parents of current students will be telling the families about their experience at Geneva and admissions representatives will give more information about what Geneva has to offer," says Director of Parent Relations Becky Phillips. "This is a great way to introduce families to the high-quality, Christ-centered academics that Geneva has to offer while also giving them the opportunity to meet people that have chosen to attend Geneva."

Those who complete and submit applications that day will receive a waived $40 application fee.
