The Genevans, the student choir of Geneva College, will hold their annual Spring Concert on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26 in John H. White Chapel starting at 8 p.m. The concert is free to the public and a free-will offering will be taken in support of the Genevans ministry efforts.

The theme of the program this year is "Sing for Joy!" Attendees can expect a wide spectrum of music from classical to modern. The concert includes pieces by composers such as Alessandro Scarlatti, Sultan Kodaly and Francis Poulenc with folk-songs, spirituals and hymns, and Russian church music as well. The Genevans will also sing settings of Psalm 81:1 in various musical styles.

The concert will additionally feature special performances from the Madrigal Singers, Grace Notes and Eight Bells. A portion of the performance will be devoted to music of western American in honor of the places that the Genevans visited during their recent spring break tour of Colorado, Wyoming and other mid-western states.
