The Center for Faith and Practice (CFP) at Geneva College, along with local area churches, invite the community of Beaver Falls to the third annual Evening of Prayer on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 8 - 9:30 p.m. The event will take place at Beaver Falls First United Methodist Church, located at 716 10th St. Beaver Falls, Pa. The Evening of Prayer is a time for the community to come together and pray for renewal and restoration in our community.

The Evening of Prayer has been initiated and coordinated by Geneva College students with the aim of bringing people together to seek God′s blessing and direction for the needs of the Beaver Falls community. Leaders such as the honorable Mayor of Beaver Falls Karl Boak, Chief of Police Charles Jones, First and Central United Methodist Pastor Mark Ongley, and many others will be present to pray with the community. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be catered by the Beaver Falls Coffee and Tea Company.

Students wanting to carpool should come to Alumni Parking Lot at 7:45 p.m. CFP staff will lead the way to the event.
