New Song 2010 will be "passing the torch" to New Song 2011 during a concert in John H. White Chapel at 6:30 p.m. on May 4, 2011. The concert is free and open to the public.

The Passing the Torch concert provides the current New Song ensemble a final chance to exhibit their vocal skills. The group will perform a full concert and then be joined by the members of New Song 2011for a combined song. The concert will conclude with a song performed by New Song 2011.

New Song 2011 is a nine-member ensemble, including three returning members from New Song 2010: Sarah Falk, Hannah Moore and Ian Taylor. The other new members are Anna Landell, Laura Neely, Allie Reefer, Jesse Carroll, Joshua Buck and Logan Harper.

Returning singer Hannah Moore provided her thoughts on the evening. "It will be a sad and exciting time because it′ll end an incredible year with an unforgettable group but also start a new year with new members and a completely different dynamic."
