Cleveland, OH - The Geneva College women′s soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at Ursuline College on Wednesday. The loss dropped Geneva′s overall record to 3-4-1 and below the .500 mark for the second time in 2011.

The Golden Tornadoes were outshot 18-7 for the match and fell behind by three goals by the halftime whistle and were never able to mount an offensive attack. The Arrows opened the scoring on the first of two goals from Amanda Levaskevich just three minutes into the match. Levaskevich struck again 20 minutes later to extend the lead. Ursuline added another goal just three minutes later to take a 3-0 lead at the break. The Arrows managed the only second half goal as they cruised to the 4-0 victory.

Karmyn Culbertson made her debut as a goalkeeper when she went into the net at the half and allowed just one goal in 45 minutes of work while making four saves along the way. Sarah Mittner allowed three first half goals but did come away with five saves of her own in the first 45 minutes.

Geneva will remain on the road as it will visit Carlow University on Saturday afternoon before hosting Marietta College next Tuesday night.
