Beaver Falls, PA - If there is one word that describes the cross country career of Nick Edinger at Geneva College it is consistency. The junior distance runner has quietly gone about his business for the past three years in building a resume that is second to none in Geneva cross country history. This past week, Edinger continued to shine with a second place finish at the Saint Vincent College Invitational. As a result of his effort, Edinger was named the Presidents′ Athletic Conference male runner of the week.

Edinger′s second place finish came in a field of 98 runners which included competition within NCAA Division III and Division II. In fact, Edinger was the top Division III finisher just 13 seconds behind the winner with a time of 26:57 on the 8K course. Edinger′s finish helped lead Geneva to a third place overall finish at Saint Vincent on Saturday.

Edinger will be back on the course this Saturday when Geneva visits Pitt-Greensburg with only one month to go before the PAC championships are held at Westminster College.
