The Center for Faith and Practice (CFP) and the Pisgah Program are organizing an All-Campus Retreat this September 23-24. The retreat will take place at Pine Springs Camp, located in the Laurel Highlands about two hours away from campus. The cost for the retreat is $25, which includes lodging, food, transportation and a Saturday excursion led by the Pisgah Program.

The theme of the retreat is "Kingdom Playfulness," and the purpose will be to explore the ideas of fun, recreation, laughter and play to see what the scriptures have to say about living a life of abundance.

"Dr. Donald Opitz, Director of Geneva′s Master of Arts in Higher Education program and Professor of Sociology and Higher Education, will be speaking and the Pisgah Program will be leading expeditions including rock climbing, mountain biking, ultimate Frisbee-we will even have a group sipping lattes in the quaint town of Ligonier," says CFP Director Keith Martel. "Come play with us!"

For those interested in attending the All-Campus Retreat, registration packets are available in the CFP Office or from discipleship coordinators. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration packets should be turned in to Bridgette Hinzman in the Student Development office.

"Our office is very excited about the All Campus Retreat this year," says CFP Director Keith Martel. "While we talk often about working hard as students and thinking deeply about God's world, we do not spend enough time considering the faithful work of enjoying our lives as people in God's creation."
