Beaver Falls, PA - Bryan Visingardi created a stadium-wide sigh of relief on Saturday when his 41 yard field goal sailed through the goalposts giving Geneva a 23-20 overtime victory over Saint Vincent. Visingardi′s overtime heroics earned him the Presidents′ Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors. Visingardi becomes the first Geneva football player to earn PAC player of the week honors.

In addition to his overtime game winner, Visingardi also connected on field goals from 23 and 34 yards earlier in the game. He was also a perfect 2-2 on PAT′s in the game. For the past two weeks, Visingardi has connected on 5-6 field goals and has accounted for a total of 20 points.

Geneva′s 23-20 decision over Saint Vincent was its first victory of 2011 and the school′s first win as a full member of the Presidents′ Athletic Conference. The victory also prevented Geneva from dropping a game to Saint Vincent for the first time in 50 years. The last time a Saint Vincent team defeated the Golden Tornadoes was back in 1961. Geneva has reeled off six consecutive victories during that span.
