Latrobe, PA - The Geneva College women′s soccer team came into action on Saturday in search of its first win in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference. After spotting Westminster an early goal, Geneva quickly responded to tie things up. Neither team could find the net until the Titans ended the game in the final seconds of the first overtime session for a 2-1 decision. The loss dropped Geneva to 4-8-1 including a 0-3 mark in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.

The Titans opened the scoring in the 12th minute on a goal from Tyler Dever. Less than three minutes later, Risa Tillman tied the score with her second goal of the season. At that point, Jenn Cantella and Karmyn Culbertson took over in the nets and didn′t allow another goal throughout the remainder of regulation. Culbertson finished the match with an incredible 16 saves keeping Geneva in the match. Westminster outshot the Golden Tornadoes 27-13 for the game.

In the final seconds of the first overtime period, Samantha Killmeyer netted the game winner for Westminster as it improved to 4-7-1 on the season.

Geneva will be back in action on Wednesday night at home against Bethany at 5 pm in search of the elusive first PAC victory.
