Crestview Hills, KY - A trip to Kentucky to face Thomas More is not exactly what the doctor ordered for a struggling Geneva College women′s soccer team. Annually one of the top programs in the PAC, Thomas More kept Geneva winless in the conference and handed the Golden Tornadoes their fifth straight loss with a 5-0 decision on Saturday. Geneva fell to 4-10-1 overall and 0-5 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.

Geneva managed only five shots in the match while Thomas More generated 25 shots including 15 shots on goal. The Saints took just 49 seconds to get on the board and led 4-0 by the end of the first half.

Natalie Swartleytook over in goal late in the first half after starter Karmyn Culbertson was injured and allowed only one goal the rest of the match for the Golden Tornadoes. Swarley made nine saves in just over a half for Geneva.

Geneva will seek its first conference victory at home on Wednesday night when it welcomes Waynesburg University to Merriman Complex for a 5 pm kickoff.
