May@GenevaMay@Geneva is a newly-created summer session of classes at Geneva College beginning May 7 and ending June 1, 2012. The session will be comprised of regular Geneva core courses, taught on a condensed schedule. And tuition and on-campus housing for May@Geneva are being offered at a discounted rate.

"We want to make the May term convenient and affordable for students," explains Dr. Tom Copeland, summer school director. "And they continue to get the integration of faith and learning in the classroom that′s the foundation of a Geneva education."

Course offerings for May@Geneva include all three sections of Humanities, all three Bible courses, and many more. Students may take two courses, or a maximum of seven hours, each session. "Students can stay on campus for three extra weeks and pick up almost half a semester of credits," explains Dr. Copeland. "Plus, students can avoid the scheduling conflicts that often occur during the regular semester."

As an added benefit, students attending May@Geneva will have access to a full range of campus services. Alexander Dining Hall will be open every day and a meal plan is available. The Fitness Center will be open Monday through Saturday, and Metheny Fieldhouse will be open for basketball, volleyball and racquetball Monday through Friday. Also, McCartney Library will be open and fully staffed throughout the session.

Other available services include the Academic Counseling Center & Educational Support Services (ACCESS) Office, the infirmary, computer labs, business office and campus bookstore.

Current Geneva students will be able to begin registering for May@Geneva during the fall registration period in November. Registration will continue through May 8. Non-Geneva students must complete the Transient Student Certification found here.
